For those with numerous small debts (one of which must be a CCJ) not exceeding a total value of £5,000, an administration order can make sense. This is an arrangement made through the court, which involves the debtor paying one regular, manageable amount to the court itself, which then distributes payment to the creditors.
During this time, the creditors must not harass you for any further payment. If the debtor abides by the agreement and makes the payments without fail for three years, the court may decide to write off any remaining debt.
